Over the past weekend, twelve of Oregon and Washington’s most influential food bloggers met to discuss the thriving PNW food scene. The bloggers talked shop with marketing plans, growth rates, and consumer engagement. They also discussed recipe development, local PNW brands, and the role of organic food in a healthy diet. Mary’s Harvest was a proud sponsor of the gathering, hosted by McMenamins Grand Lodge in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Blogs are rich tools for reaching consumers with the Mary’s Harvest story. We created excitement with our Mary’s Harvest bags, filled with fresh-cut produce and grab-n-go items. The bloggers immediately began sharing images of our peak organic product across their social channels, reaching over 200k people—and that’s before the blogging has even started. In today’s world of social media marketing, this is a huge boost to our brand awareness. Since the retreat, bloggers have been reaching out to network and build working relationships. The PNW Bloggers Retreat was a positive experience; one we hope to continue in the future.
